We will understand here to apply these scientific approach of this ancient science through Herbs and basic constitution of Ayurveda. The course is divided into two parts:

Part I - Introduction to Ayurveda

Fundamentals of Ayurveda

Origin, meaning and scope of Ayurveda (mind, body, senses, soul); objective of Ayurveda

Principles of Ayurveda

Basic principles: theory of creation; the five elements; composition of human beings; balance of elements; three qualities; modern application of Ayurvedic principles

Physical Constitution

Thri-dosha; dosha formation; dosha states and balance; evaluating dosha type; dosha characteristics; reasons for disturbance; remedies to alleviate

Psychological Constitution

Tri-guna; mind types; mind balance; diet and nutrition; Lifestyle; Emotions

Metabolism & Digestion

Four states of agni; digestive process; digestion, atma and disease; wastes; elimination of wastes

Physiology

Tissues; formation and imbalance of tissues; ojas; channels; function and impairment of channels

Part II - Health & Ayurveda

Nutrition

10:00 – 12:00 : Ayurveda Workshop – I

14:30 – 15:45 : Ayurveda Workshop – II
16:00 – 16:15 : Tea break
16:15 – 18:00 : Yoga Posture (session – II)
18:30 – 19:30 : Dinner and free time
19:30 – 20:30 : Guest lecturers/Satsanga/Meditation/Audios and videos/Self-study/Inner dialogue
21:00pm : Go sleep!
